Red Dead Redemption Detailed Game Map

This project is the creation of a fan-made detailed map for Red Dead Redemption created by Rockstar Games.

I took the original map that was in the game (using various scans and screenshots that I collated) and hand traced it in its entirety to create a full vector version for players to use alongside playing the game. This version includes more detail than the original printed map that came with the game including gold and legendary animal locations.

The Illustrator file utilises dynamic symbols to allow for replacing all instances of an icon on the map with ease.

The first version of this project was completed 2010 and uploaded to the Red Dead Fandom/Wiki. 10 years later after some final edits Version 2.0 was released and became Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. You can now freely download, edit and print this piece with all the source files on GitHub.
